Weigh in Wednesday #5

As you guys know WIW hasn’t been easy for me, at times it has been discouraging, baffling and infuriating I have had a mixed bag of emotions during this process. I am resolved to keep it moving and to remain positive. I couldn’t do as much as I wanted to  last week because I was experiencing awful back spams, so I only ran once last week and that was a struggle.  I am feeling a lot better after resting my back. I ran/walk 3 miles yesterday  it wasn’t easy but I got it done. Michael and I tried P90X today (you know how you imagine something being far worse than it actually is)?  The P90X workout not easy by no means but not impossible either. Since I am off this week for Easter Break , which gives me the time to work out more and really assess what workouts appeal to me when I am not running.

This week I feel encouraged and I am ready to continue this challenge. My husband has been super supportive and also providing tough love when I needed it, by cheering me on and not allowing me to have a pity party.  He shared a video with me about frustration when your scale isn’t moving although you’re working out and eating right, which was a huge help, and it actually mirrored some of your comments about muscle weighing more than fat, clothes fitting looser even when the scale isn’t moving , etc.

I have considered maybe only doing the weigh in’s monthly but I like the accountability of weekly. What do you guys think? How are you doing with your journey and achieving your fitness/weight loss goals? Lost 2 ounces since last week. It’s not what I was hoping for but I will take it! (for now)

Keep weighing in weekly! It can be discouraging at first, but it is encouraging to know that someone else is working hard and helps me to remember mid-week that there is still time to turn it around if I fell off the wagon early. Congrats on P90X!

Hi Tracey, is it is so encouraging to know others working hard to achieve their goals and inspires me to keep moving. Yes I need those weigh in’s because I need the push! Girl P90X is a beast but we did it.

Just keep going I got on the scale today and not one pound gone. I am losing inches and my clothes are loose. I feel better and the doubt started but I didn’t let my mind play tricks on me. I’m going to keep going and we will get there. I want by November to be a size 14. We are going to win love you, you inspire me to keep going.

Hi Annette I am so proud and excited for you that you are moving and have a goal in place too with a date! That’s how you make goals. If I don’t put a date on a goal it’s not really a goal for me. You are inspiring me to keep striving. Love you too! We got this!
